The Reggae Nights summer concert series continues at James Island County Park on Saturday evening with a performance by Da'Gullah Rootz, a Charleston-based reggae band.

Gullah and Geechee style are brought together in a live, original mix known as Da'Gullah Rootz, whose influences and melodies are as eclectic and diverse as the culture it represents. For the last seven years, Da'Gullah Rootz has intermingled ska, rub-a-dub, lovers rock, rockers, toastin, and dancehall flavors into original reggae riddims.

The concert kicks off at 8:30 p.m. Outside coolers are prohibited, but food, beverages, and souvenirs will be available for purchase on-site. If you're planning on drinking at the show, be sure you bring your ID.

Tickets to the concert are $8 for adult general admission; anyone 12 and under gets in for free.

James Island County Park is located at 871 Riverland Drive.
