According to The Post and Courier, the Key West Road Show concert scheduled for Saturday at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center has been canceled.

First reporting:

Grammy Award nominee, Nadirah Shakoor, will be performing at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center on Saturday, July 18, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting local charities.

The event is part of the Key West Road Show hosted by the Lowcountry Parrot Head Club. Festivities begin at 2 p.m. with the kick-off celebration for Darkness to Light’s 2009 Prevent-A-Thon and live music from Hank Futch and Friends.

Tickets are up for sale online for $30 and will be $35 at the door.
