CJO’s Latin Night returns with special trumpeter, percussionist Etienne Charles

The Charleston Jazz Orchestra, Charleston’s own resident big band, continues its fourth season Saturday, September 22, with its wildly popular Latin Night.

CJO proudly announces Trinidadian-born, internationally acclaimed, trumpeter and percussionist Etienne Charles as this year’s special guest artist, marking his third appearance for Jazz Artist of Charleston. This unique performance offers 2 sets of music, SET 1 at 7 p.m., SET 2 at 10 p.m. Each set is a separate, 90 minute ticketed event with no intermission. Tickets are on sale now and range from $40 to $25. Both shows will be performed at the band’s House of Swing, the Charleston Music Hall, located at 37 John Street. As an added bonus, JAC has partnered with Lowcountry Local First to offer a Buy One, Get One Free ticket promotion for Set 2 at 10 p.m. only. All student and special promotional tickets must be purchased in-person.
