Black Lips show is free if you get tickets, and we've got some to give

Image by The Black LipsImage by 20081019blacklips.jpg Quirky, they most certainly are.

Offbeat, party-rocking, cord-banging Atlanta foursome The Black Lips are headed to the Music Farm for a show. Know what's even better? It's free.

But you still have to get tickets by turning up at one of several local bars, and sweet talking your way in -- well, at least not act like an idiot. You can also win a pair of tickets from us. All you need do is log in and leave a comment in the comments section below.

We'll randomly pick winners and notify them by the e-mail address on their account. We should have around 20 tickets to give out, and will draw names on Tuesday night, October 28.

Oh, and if you need it: Here's a link to create an account, and one to login.

And we're told you'll need to be 21 or older to get in. If you get the tickets, turn up on November 3 at 32 Ann Street.

The event is part of the Jack Daniel's Studio No. 7 Live Events. Hop over to Pitchfork for a June interview with the group.

Update November 1: The Charleston City Paper has done a write-up on The Black Lips.

I'll be doing the drawing tomorrow, so look for an e-mail coming from contact@thedigitel.com
