‘Tis the season for holiday hip checks and winter rink rash!

The Palmetto State Rollergirls announce their second annual family-friendly roller derby invitational, “Deck the Dolls”.  On Saturday, December 1, 2012, roller girls from surrounding teams will come together for some holiday cheer.  “Deck the Dolls” will consist of a 40 minute “fresh meat” bout and a full hour veteran’s bout at Dreamland Skating Arena.  The doors open at 5:30 p.m. with first whistle at 6 p.m.

As always, the Palmetto State Rollergirls will be donating a portion of the proceeds to a local charity.  “Deck the Dolls” will benefit the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society; an organization dedicated to finding loving and permanent homes for abandoned animals, providing veterinary care, as well as educating owners on pet responsibility.

Get in the holiday spirit by bringing your family and friends to this exciting event. Tickets are on sale at the door for $10 for adults and $6 for children and seniors, or get discounted tickets in advance by visiting the website www.palmettostaterollergirls.com.  It will be a great opportunity for unique holiday gifts as this bout’s sponsor, “Pretty in Anything...Ladies Consignment and Boutique”, will be showcasing items in addition to raffle prizes and roller derby merchandise.
