So you love tennis, a free uniform floats your boat and you aspire to treat guests with the charm and hospitality you can only find in Charleston?  Then this here is the job for you.

The Family Circle Cup is now accepting applications for 375 adult volunteer positions, as well as 175 adult and junior Ball Crew members. There is such a special need for adult ball crew members that the $60 volunteer fee has been waived. All volunteers must work a minimum of six shifts - each shift is approximately 4-5 hours. The sweet part of the deal, the more you work, the more perks your receive.

Volunteers receive credentials that are good for all nine (day) sessions, but tickets are required for night matches. In addition to shifts during the tournament, all volunteers are required to attend a training/orientation. Trainings will take place in the spring and will be set up according to volunteer assigned work area. Volunteers will be sent training and uniform pick up information in March.

The tournament runs from April 10th to 18th at the Family Circle Stadium on Daniel Island. An informational Ball Crew meeting will be held prior to the first training session on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 12:30 pm at the Family Circle Tennis Center located at 161 Seven Farms Drive, Daniel Island.
