On March 27th, the Fit Week Kickoff will take place at Memorial Waterfront Park, 99 Harry Hallman Jr. Boulevard.

The event is free to the public and starts out with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. Afterward, Roper St. Francis will give a variety of free health screenings to the public and also share information regarding an array of topics including smoking cessation and food and nutrition. Other fun activities include the Charleston County Parks and Recreation climbing wall and public exercise classes ranging from Adult Boot Camp to Home Spun Hoops. The event will end at approximately 5 p.m.
