Bring your friends and family to the Charleston Egg Drop on Saturday, April 11 hosted by the Coastal Community Church.

Kids from age 2 through fifth grade are all welcome to participate. All contestants are eligible to win numerous prizes like: candy in every egg, Nintendo Wii, Sony PSP, Money, iPods, Rock Band, Gift Certificates.

If you are wondering what an egg drop is, then here's a description from the Web site:

Children will watch from a safe distance as a helicopter releases candy/prize filled plastic eggs on to a large field already covered with plastic eggs. Children will then be released to their age appropriate section to gather eggs.

Free registration begins at 10 a.m. and the Egg Drop commences at 11 a.m. at 460 Arlington Drive in West Ashley.
