Since 1996, basset hound lovers from across the Carolinas and beyond, have converged on the Folly Beach area to celebrate a love of basset hounds and to support Carolina Basset Hound Rescue.

The main block of events runs from November 30 to December 2 with a beach walk, snack, and other social events, and will conclude on Sunday with the renowned waddling dog procession in the Charleston Christmas Parade.
