'I Will Reflect' Melanoma awareness swimwear fashion show

For the fifth consecutive year, The Spa at Charleston Place will launch the summer-long ‘I Will Reflect’ Melanoma Awareness Initiative beginning on ‘Melanoma Monday,’ May 7th.

Come see fashion for a cause as the campaign festivities get started with a swimwear fashion show and kick-off soiree. Fashion and awareness will meet as The Spa at Charleston Place plays host from 6  to 8:30 p.m. Offered will be hors-d’oeuvres and refreshing cocktails, a silent auction, and mingle with friends. A donation of $10 is requested.

The swimwear fashion show will feature designs from Cavortress, Hampden Clothing, Tommy Bahama, Las Olas, Magar Hatworks and other retailers, as well as models from Tout Models and Talent Agency, hair by Article 5 salon and makeup by Cos Bar. Other campaign partners include Mission Essentials, DJ Sonar, Charleston magazine and the Little Black Book for every busy woman.

Proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Fund and used for skin cancer research. Over the past four years, the ‘I Will Reflect’ Melanoma Awareness Initiative has raised more than $25,000.00 for MUSC skin cancer research.
