Oyster season is begging to pick up, and if you're not the kind of person who is interested the mess of cooking and cleaning up a party filled with the tasty little mollusk, head out to Blu Restaurant and Bar on Thursday night and have someone do all the dirty word for you.

On October 28th, Blu Restaurant and Bar as the Folly Beach Holiday Inn will be throwing a 'Roast on the Coast' with local oysters, craft beer specials from Stone and Allgash breweries, live music and barbeque and sides. All this will be happening oceanside on the restaurant's incredible back deck that has a perfect view of the Atlantic and the Folly Beach Fishing Pier.

The party begins at 5:30 p.m. and keeps rolling until the oysters are all eaten up. The cost to chow down is $19.95 for adults and $11.95 for children 11 and under.

Blu Restaurant and Bar is located 1 Center Street inside of the Folly Beach Holiday Inn.
