Slow Food Charleston is hosting the “Farm to Plate Picnic” on Sunday, June 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Thackeray Farms as a fundraiser for Slow Food Charleston’s Organic Garden Project.

There will be farm tours led by local farmers Shawn Thackeray of Thackeray Farms and Rita Bachmann of Rita’s Roots. In addition, there will also be a pie auction and live bluegrass. If you plan on attending, you're asked to please bring your own picnic dinner.
