Ted’s Butcherblock in downtown Charleston is ringing in spring with Foodie Trivia Night, a Craft Beer Dinner and a special Mother’s Day Brunch Basket.

In honor of Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8th, Ted’s has put together a selection of their favorite gourmet breakfast items, which they are featuring in their special Mother’s Day Brunch Basket, available for $55. The basket is packed with all the goodies needed to put together a perfect brunch, including a dozen Callie’s Biscuits, a pound of Ted’s featured artisanal bacon, a bottle of sparkling wine and Bellini mix and artisan jam from Harvest Song. Ted’s also sells Sea Island eggs, which can be added at an extra cost when available. Baskets are available for pick-up or local delivery (delivery charges may apply).

Foodie Trivia continues to be a fun night out at a great value. This month’s installment takes place Wednesday, April 13th at 7:30 p.m. There is no cost to attend and Ted’s offers specials on beer and wine, as well as a $5 traditional Spanish-style tapas plate. Table reservations are available for groups.

The theme for the April installment Ted’s Craft Beer Dinner is “Best of the West” and will feature craft beers from Oregon and California paired with West Coast dishes prepared by Chef Eva. Full menu details will be posted on the web site in the coming weeks. The dinner takes place on Thursday, April 28th, at 7:15 p.m. and cost is $38 per person. Reservations are required and may be made by calling (843) 577-0094.

Every Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. throughout the month, Ted’s hosts Friday Wine Tastings, followed by their popular $12 Dinner. Guests are invited to taste four featured wines and enjoy gourmet hors d'oeuvres for $5, and proceeds benefit Ted’s charity partner this quarter, Rein and Shine.
