Love gardens? Love the Lowcountry? Love a good time? If so, the Charleston Garden Festival at Middleton Place is most certainly for you.

The event spans three days from Friday to Sunday (October 17-19) and spans a myriad of events from culture, to how to grow great plants, taking great pictures, to garden in an eco-friendly manner. Go view the full schedule.

Tickets are $15 for a day pass, or $30 for all three days. Those prices go to $20, and $40 if you buy them at the gate. You can buy the tickets online for the discount.

Oh, and here's how to get there.

And if you're really serious about the festival, you can go to the kick-off event on Thursday, October 16, at 7 p.m. The say:
Guests will be dancing mambo style under swarms of butterflies to the music of The Garage Cuban Band and feasting on Carolina Catering’s signature delicious fare. Life size animal topiaries will bring the gardens alive while a large screen monitor will showcase the never seen before 2008 Exhibit Gardens. There are additional surprises up our sleeves to keep the night a must see event.

It's $80 ($90 at the door), but the price includes a ticket to the festival. Buy a ticket online.
