Two intimate nights with local act The Charles David Band

Want to hear some homegrown blues on the cheap in one of Charleston's most unique music venues? On Friday, August 19th and Saturday, August 20th head out to Eye Level Art for an evening with The Charles David Band.

Formed out of Charleston’s nightclub The New Moulin Rouge, comes The Charles David Band, a dynamic group of salty musicians. With seasoned veterans guiding the younger talent, this group is full of flavor as they drive home dirty blues and sweet soul.

Their repertoire includes classic blues covers, such as T-Bone Walker’s “Stormy Monday,” as well as contemporary, rocking original tunes. The Charles David Band appeals to music lovers young and old.

Opening for The Charles David band on Friday night is Aaron Woody Wood, a singer/songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina who is a cross between Otis Redding and Chris Robinson. On Saturday it's local group Old You.

Tickets for the both Friday and Saturday's shows are $5 in advance and $10 at the door.
