Tonight the New Music Collective offers an odd music concert -- one without performers

Charleston existential group of musicians -- that's the New Music Collective -- with its latest production dubbed "Head Games."

They describe it as an event that "challenges the physicality of the listener/viewers perceptions through psycho-acoustic and visual phenomena ... it will explore and exploit the places where your eyes and ears fall apart."

What's it mean? Four pieces of audio and one piece video. In fact, the Charleston City Paper says there won't be any live performers.

Sounds like fun.

Fixed Media I: Head Games is tonight, February 25, at 8 p.m. at the John Rivers Communications  Museum at 58 George Street. Donations accepted.
