Strings and Things take over Eye Level Art

To start June off right, Eye Level Art and their 103 Gallery welcomes two musical performances, The Satin Dolls and Minor Gravity.

On Tuesday, June 1st The Satin Dolls String Quartet take the stage at 8 p.m. and perform the first set followed by the Minor Gravity Jazz Quartet. As the icing on the cake, both groups will unite for a third and final set to form some exciting and innovative musical magic.

The Satin Dolls String Quartet is a new musical ensemble that was launched by local musician Robbi Kenney. This refined group of ladies is known for their charm and eclectic glamour while collaborating to provide a tantalizing variety of musical styles. Their style of music ranges from tangos, to the French influences of Satie with elements of pop, creating a harmonious and enchanting sound.

The Minor Gravity Quartet is a local jazz group who are known for their unique approach to jazz, which tends to attract large audiences with their exciting vibrancy. The group is comprised of Simon Harding (Sax), Tyler Ross (guitar), Bates Homan (Drums) and Jeremy Wolf (Bass). This foursome will take the stage to perform their original compositions and will feature some of their favorite cover tunes.

Tickets are on sale in advance at the gallery for $12 each. Feel free to get your tickets at the door the night of the show, but they'll be $15.
