S.C.'s best high schoolers converge at marching band competition (updated x2)

And we've got the results: 

 

  • Summerville High School took the 5A division.
  • West Ashley High School took the 4A division.
  • Goose Creek High School took the 3A division.
  • Summerville's Ashley Ridge High School took the 2A division.
  • Chesnee High School (near Spartanburg) took the 1A division.

First reporting:

Many of South Carolina's best high school band members are converging on the old Wando High School stadium for the Lowcountry Invitational Marching Band Competition on Saturday, October 3.

The gates for this Mount Pleasant event open at 2 p.m. and awards are slated to be given at 9:15. $8; $5 students. 1560 Mathis Ferry Road.
