On Saturday, November 17 local artists from all different trades will take over the Old City Jail to bring you Jail Break 4.

The fourth installment of this local arts festival will take place from 4 to 11 p.m. and will feature musicians, dancers, comedians, actors, artists, sculptors and more. The festival will be spread throughout the jailhouse, courtyard and city block.

The entertainment line up features four live musical acts, six comedic acts, mob-style dance performances by the Charleston Dance Alliance and dozens of local artisans utilizing every wire and stone to transform the prison into a massive art exhibit. Artists and vendors will be selling their work and there will be food from local food trucks and craft beer available for sale.

The show is promoted by Andrew Walker of Entropy Arts and Rob Lamble of Ear for Music. Walker says, “We are excited to bring Jail Break 4 back to the Old Jail. Last year was a big success and it allows local trade artists to show off their work in the most visionary arts festival in Charleston”.

Tickets for the event are $15 in advance, $20 the day-of or $15 with a student ID. For more information or to purchase your tickets, click here.
