Little River Shrimp & Jazz Festival today

Looking for an alternative to Oktoberfest and college football? It may be worth the drive to the Little River Waterfront this afternoon.

According to the Little River Chamber of Commerce website...

Cool jazz under the live oaks on the Little River waterfront - Shrimp and a variety of seafood along with landlovers delights - vendors of all kinds - Activities for the kids - makes for an afternoon not to be missed.

Admission to the festival is $5.00 and children under 12 are free. Parking is free and available at the River Hills Medical Center on Hwy 17 South and in the Lowes Foods Parking lot on Hwy 17 near the state line.  A shuttle will run continuously from both lots to and from the festival.

There's more details about the headlining musical acts Tim Reynolds, TR3, and Bonerama on the Little River Chamber of Commerce Blog. Read that here.
