Hell's bells ya'll, Cary Ann Hearst is releasing a new record

Good old CAH up to no good in her "Hell's Bells" music video

Local musician Cary Ann Hearst relases a new album on Friday and is celebrating the big day with fans and friends at the Pour House.

The new album, Lions and Lambs, doesn't stray from the CAH sound we all know and love. And that's a wonderful thing. Some tracks have been out and available for quite some time now, long enough that HBO's True Blood chose her song "Hell's Bells" to accompany it's closing credits.

Cary Ann and fellow Shrimp Records artists will be celebrating at the Pour House this Friday during a special record release party. Tickets to the show are on sale now at $8 a pop for the 9 p.m. show.

The Charleston City Paper has a post with additional background on the album, the award-winning production crew behind Lions and Lambs and a preview of the track "The Thread" off the new album. You'll find it all right here.
