World-renowned marine wildlife artist and conservationist Guy Harvey will be vistiting Charleston this month.
Harvey will be at the Palmetto Moon Northwoods Mall location (2150 Northwoods Boulevard) on Saturday, May 26th, from 1 to 3 p.m. and on Sunday, May 27th, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre location (1614 Palmetto Grande Drive). Guy Harvey will meet with fans, sign autographs and take pictures as part of the Memorial Day weekend celebration in the Charleston area.
Guy Harvey has released new U.S. Armed Forces Collection that is available at Palmetto Moon. A portion of these product sales will benefit America’s veterans and military families through The Gary Sinise Foundation, Birdies for the Brave and the Wounded Warrior Project.
“We are so thrilled to have Guy Harvey visit our Charleston stores once again,” said Holzer. “Thanks to the Memorial Day holiday weekend, we hope that even more of his fans will get the chance to come out andmeet one of their favorite artists.”
Though he is best known for his depictions of marine wildlife, Harvey has the ability to paint more than just game fish. In creating new artwork for his U.S. Armed Forces Collection, he painted a Golden Eagle to represent the Air Force, a Black Knight for the Army, a patriotic Sailfish for the Coast Guard, a White Shark for the Navy and a Bulldog for the Marines. The collection includes T-shirts, coffee mugs, mini prints and posters. A portion from the purchase of these products will be donated to charitable organizations dedicated to supporting America’s military and their families, including The Gary Sinise Foundation, Birdies for the Brave and the Wounded Warrior Project.
“Our organization supports a number of worthy charitable causes but I am especially proud of our new association with these military charities,” said Dr. Harvey. “This expanded line of products featuring my
new designs is intended to honor America’s military soldiers while raising funds for their various needs.”
During these two signing events, Palmetto Moon will give away a free Guy Harvey military design poster for each transaction of Guy Harvey products over $50.
