Four-day Rocktoberfest playing in Awendaw (updated)

The festival continues, and The Charleston City Paper was there for the first day. They've reported back with a write-up and imagery.

First reporting:

The second annual Rocktoberfest is coming to three stages at the Sewee Outpost this Friday to Monday (October 9-12).

Read more stories on this subject in our music topic page.Folks like Cary Ann Hearst, The Fire Apes, Leslie, and more will be there ... in all more than 80 local and regional bands will be there from the start at 3 p.m. on Friday to the close at 10 p.m. on October 12.

Tickets are $40 for a weekend pass ($25 students), day passes are $15 ($10 students). Also, you'll get in free if you donate a "quality" used instrument. -- You can buy tickets at Etix or at 52.5 or Sewee Outpost.
