'Tis the Piccolo Spoleto and Spoleto season, which means art, culture, and a ton of tourists are about to take over our fair city. It also means the return of Piccolo Fringe -- 64 shows of improv, sketch, plays and musical comedy from around the country!

We've just had a chance to digest this year's list of shows and spotted some returning favorite out-of-town acts like the "Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company," "One Man Star Wars," and "FrankenMatt," among others.

2012 marks the 12th year of Piccolo Fringe, and the official dates for the festival are May 25 - June 9.

There are three ways to purchase your Fringe tickets:

• Buy them at the Gaillard Auditorium located at 77 Calhoun Street 
• Buy them at the Charleston Visitor Center located at 375 Meeting Street

Purchase your tickets in advance and get a free ticket to a future Theatre 99 show for every ticket you buy by saying, "I pledge allegiance to Theatre 99" when you arrive at the theatre for the show.
