The city of Folly Beach and the Folly Beach Arts and Craft Guild are having a parade starring Santa a golf cart float contest and local vendors selling handmade arts and crafts for your holiday shopping.

The Folly Beach Holiday Parade and Market is slated for December 11th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be held at the Folly River Park. 

This year's parade, which will roll down Center Street at 1 p.m., boasts a Christmas themed golf cart contest. Meet Santa will be in the park afterward, then check out the locally made good from nearly 40 crafts vendors who are signed up to participate.

This is a opportunity to shop local, especially so since the market falls during Lowcountry Local First's 'Buy Local Month.'
