Charleston Arts Coalition -- a self proclaimed creative hub for Charleston's art community -- is launching their first project on Thursday, May 14th: CharlestonCulture.com.

CharlestonCulture.com is rather sparse at the moment, but they hope to make it a complete resource for the creative community of Charleston with profiles, calendar listings, postings, and more ... as they say "a unified, dynamic, and thriving arts environment."

"It is our goal to provide a virtual center of creativity where every creative individual of Charleston will be able to promote and market themselves and their talent, trade and craft," says Jessica Solomon Bluestein, president of the Coalition. "Locals and visitors will also benefit from having one central hub where information will be uploaded directly by creatives and not a third party. It will be the master list and calendar of Charleston creatives."

Sounds great, we at TheDigitel would love to see this take shape.

The event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Robert Lange Studios with an after party at Shine starting at 9.

The event is free for Arts Coalition member, and $5 for guests.

Space is limited and RSVPing is necessary. Please email chasartco@gmail.

Robert Lange Studios is located at 151 East Bay Street and Shine is located at 58 Line Street.
