Update February 21: Local photographer Jonathan Stout was on the scene snapping more shots than you can handle of dark beards, long bears, silly beards, and skinny beards.

First reporting: Join your fellow facial hair aficionados at the 2nd Annual Southeastern Beard & Moustache Championships brought to you by the Holy City Beard & Moustache Society.

Contestants from all over the Southeast are coming out to The Pour House on February 19th to try and capture the title of best beard(s). The championship begins at 8 p.m.

The categories include; sideburns, goatee, moustache, college beard, corporate beard, gnarliest beard, freestyle, ladies artificial, gray beard and full beard. Bluegrass music will be provided by Charleston's own Flatt City & Guilt Ridden Troubador.

Remember to wear your donation pants to this party folks, the night is dedicated to helping out Lowcountry Women with Wings.
