The Social Media Club of Charleston will be having another open discussion on August 19th in College of Charleston's Robert Scott Small Building Auditorium.

Read more stories on this subject in our Social Media Club topic page.Any questions, concerns, ideas or helpful advice you have on social media will be addressed, so come ready to talk. Tips and tools will be the main focus of this next meet-up, so for anyone just breaking into the social media scene, you will definitely benefit from attending.

This event is open to the public, so don't be shy and come see what the Club has to offer.

Here's a bit more about the event, from the Facebook event page:

How can I use social media to find a job? Twitter seems silly, am I missing the point? What is social bookmarking? How can I monitor what's being said about my company on social networks, review sites and forums?

We probably won't resolve every question about social media in two short hours, but based on the feedback we've received from the group it appears that a session focused on social media tips and tools is in order. So...come ready with your questions and any advice you want to share with the rest of the group and we'll have an engaging discussion.
