A couple of extra specials and goodies have been added to the sale.  From the store's mailer:

FREE UPGRADES - get a free upgrade from any instock trade to any instock Premiere HC plus 25% from that price.   In many cases the $20 HC will ring up at the $15 paperback price and then an additional $3.75 off for the sale. This puts the $20 HC at only $11.25 (not available on Deluxe editions and Absolutes)

FREE OBAMA/SPIDEY HARDCOVER - The first 25 people to spend $50 or more will get a FREE Spiderman/Obama hardcover with the much hyped issue of the comic. This hardcover normally retails at $29.99!

DOOR PRIZES - We have a number of awesome giveaways for the sale including a misprinted Green Lantern Ring with a Red Lantern symbol and much more!

West Ashley nerd nerve-center, Captain's Comics, is having a very big sale this Saturday, December 12th. 

Here's the news straight from Mike's (that's the owner) mouth:

50% off back issue (boxed) comics
25% off silver age and recent back issues
25% off statues, toys, trades, shirts, and everything else!*
*new items and sideshow items excluded
This will be the only sale that we do for the Holiday season, so come in early to get the best selection.

Captain's is also be doing their regular free Christmas registry program. If you have to buy presents for someone so into something that you can't possibly please them yourself (like me), encourage them to visit the store and they can leave a list for you there.  It's like Target, but with spandex and a cape.

(As a side note, I'm a geek, and a nerd, and I've had a pull list with Captain's for a quite while. I consider these terms of endearment, and don't mean to offend.)
