Confusion on lease renewal to force Momma Brown's Bar-B-Q to close up shop
Image by Chrys Rynearson Some of the best mustard and vinegar infused pork in town was at Mamma Brown's.
With only three-weeks notice that her lease would be expiring at the end of the month, Mary Alice Brown's Momma Brown's Bar-B-Q on Ben Sawyer Boulevard will be closing its doors on October 31st.
According to The Post and Courier, Brown plans to continue her catering business until she can find a new location.
A new business is scheduled to move into the spot where Brown ran her Bar-B-Q business for 14 years, but property property owner, Oren Herring, declined to name it.
