'Small Business Saturday' shop and eat local (Today!)

Update 11/26: Don't forget to save some shopping for today and help out Myrtle Beach area small businesses!

Read the details below.

American Express, in conjunction with several other big names, is sponsoring 'Small Business Saturday" to encourage shopping at all the local shops and restaurants that make our town great.

We all know there are hundreds of small businesses around town and sadly a lot of them get overlooked this time of year with Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so why not help out local business owners on Saturday?

via Small Business Saturday's website:

The 2nd annual Small Business Saturday® is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year.
On November 26, we're asking millions of people to shop small at their favorite local stores and help fuel the economy. When we all shop small, it will be huge.

You can find out more information and sign your business up for Small Business Saturday by heading over to their website. Over at their Facebook page you can pledge your support for Small Business Saturday, search for local small businesses and of course become a fan.

We've decided to compile a small list of some great local businesses picked randomly due to their unique and different offerings. Please feel free to add your favorite small business in the comments section below.
