TheDigitel neighbor and stationery design shop, Mac & Murphy is having an opening party on May 7th to show off their chic new digs (and stationery of course!)

Check out all the pictures from our visit.I recently caught up with one of the two owners, Amy Murphy who told me a little about the cutest new shop in the city.  She loves being on Cannon Street (us too!) and is happily surprised by the frequent foot traffic.  

Murphy says Mac & Murphy (the "Mac" comes from her business partner Liz Macpherson) was opened in early March to fill a void in Charleston's stationery design world. She describes her shop as a "Front to back end stationery boutique with an urban edge." They offer personalized invitations and stationery as well as cute cards by smaller labels such as R. Nichols, Linda and Harriet and Smock Paper. 

The party will be on Thursday, May 7th beginning at 6 p.m. at 74.5 Cannon Street.

They'll be offering up seasonal treats from Sugar bakeshop, champagne from Caviar & Bananas, and connect you with dinner and and drink specials at nearby restaurants Lana, Hominy Grill, and Mia Pomodori.

Their back garden is to die for, I highly suggest a visit!  

The new shop is now opened Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Contact them at write@macandmurphy.com.
