Join us for the 3rd annual and free Student Exhibition of Watercolor Paintings’ Art Show on Sunday, May 16, at The Clubhouse at the Meridian in Mount Pleasant from 3 to 5 p.m.

Derna Conklin, the student’s instructor and event organizer, is an exhibiting member of the
Charleston Artist Guild and the Mt. Pleasant Artist Guild and whose works can
be found throughout many states and Europe.

“I have been teaching watercolor classes to beginners, intermediate and advanced students for approximately 10 years,” said Conklin. “Watching them progress from what starts out as a dream to creating wonderful paintings is so rewarding. They are not only creating art, but also gaining confidence in addition to developing new friendships. I am so proud to teach these wonderful and talented people.”
