Roundtable Art Show at The Market Common (Update: Reviews)

Update December 4, 2011: GrandStrandHappening.com has a a couple photos and a nice write-up of the event. See it here.

I also briefly attended the event and I think Market Common is a great venue for these art shows. Travinia set aside dedicated space for the exhibits, but it was just enough to walk through and view the pieces. Being that it was a Friday night, both the bar and dining room were packed with patrons. I wasn't entirely comfortable standing idle and potentially preventing others from seeing the artwork. Fortunately, the sidewalk outside of the restaurant was a nice escape for some breathing room and you could still enjoy the live music. The Travinia staff was very patient and friendly with everyone. I'd love to see another art show that possibly utilizes a bigger exhibition space that would be more conducive to socializing and, hopefully, purchasing some great local art!

Roundtable has not announced their next event yet but Calvin Blassingame, President of Roundtable, said planning has already begun. The best way to know about the next event is to follow them on Facebook.
