First reporting:

Pure Theatre's newest play by Bridget Carpenter, Up, is set to premier this Friday, October 2nd.

Director Sharon Graci has this to say about the upcoming perfomance:

Up is a play about the desire in each and every one of us to fly, to lift off, to rise above, to transcend. But perhaps just as importantly, Up is about what keeps us tethered to the ground, and how we can so easily miss the extraordinary within the ordinary. Up is about missing the clues, overlooking the obvious, and letting it all float away while we wish upon stars and wait to begin valuing all that we have.

Performances will run from October 2nd through October 24 at the Circular Congregational Church located at 150 Meeting Street. Tickets are on sale now for $20 to $30 a piece.
