The Charleston City Paper has posted a great video that captures the overall vibe of the Lowcountry Local First Revival held last week to inspire people to support local businesses.

As a way to support, sustain and improve the state of local businesses, Lowcountry Local First has organized their first ever Revival event taking place on Thursday evening.
Lowcountry Local First members have put together this event which includes a march from John Street to 501 King Street, headed by local musician Cary Ann Hearst and a gospel choir. This is a must attend for local-independent businesses and the community that loves them. It's also a wonderful opportunity for you to voice your concerns and experiences regarding big-box shopping and the loss of many local retailers.
As stated above, the procession will end at 501 King Street where guests can partake in a cash bar, mix and mingle with like-minded folks, sign a “Keep King Street Local” petition, or submit a suggestion to the city and LLF on how to help local businesses.
The procession will begin at 7 p.m. and is free to attend.
