The show starts at 8 p.m. sharp.

First reporting: Ever dreamed of performing on the big stage? Well, The South of Broadway Theatre Company wants to make those dreams come true with "Star Quest."

Up to four winners will perform live onstage as the opening act for “The Broadway Boys” in “Boeing Presents South of Broadway Theatre Company Series” on February 25th at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.

Star Quest is set up very similarly to America's Got Talent. Two age groups, 12-19 year olds and those 20 and over will audition any sort of talent or routine in front of the South of Broadway Theatre Company judges. Auditions are to be no more than four minutes long and if you require music, you're asked to please bring CD accompaniment. A cappella will only be allowed in preliminary audition, unless your routine is meant to be performed a cappella. SOBTC cannot provide accompanists or instrument.

There is no entry fee for those wishing to audition, so all you need to do is bring in a filled out application form at 2:30 p.m. on January 15th or 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. For the complete rundown of rules and to download the application form, click here.

All auditions are at South of Broadway Theatre Company, 1080 E. Montague Avenue, in the Park Circle area of North Charleston.
