Let your freak flag fly at Mellow Avondale's screening of 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'

From 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, Mellow Mushroom Avondale is hosting a late-night adults-only screening of 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'.

The show features interactive activities during the film screening such as a “Time Warp” dance lesson and character costume contest--winner will get a theme appropriate prize.

Rocky Horror was released in 1975 as an obvious spoof on horror movies. Engulfed with sexual exploration and raunchy song lyrics, the film gained a cult following which soon led to midnight screening celebrations around the U.S. Mellow Mushroom Avondale is keeping the tradition intact with “virgin” undertakings, themed drinking games, and the use of relevant props as the film’s plot progresses.

The movie is intended for adult audiences only. Screaming obscenities at the screen is encouraged.
