As if learning about the awesome existence of the College of Charleston's Quidditch team wasn't enough, Harry Potter fans will be excited to learn that the Charleston Public Library will be hosting College of Charleston professor, Dr. Jason Coy, as part of the eight week long 'Harry Potter’s World Exhibit' at 7:30 pm on December 2nd.

Dr. Coy will share his expertise on the Renaissance era and it’s influence on the Harry Potter novels. He explores the link between the fictional tales and modern medicine through his expansive research on witchcraft and superstition throughout history.

Dr. Coy’s lecture is a special one time only addition to the first nationwide “Harry Potter’s World: Renaissance Science, Magic, and Medicine” exhibition.

This lecture is free and open to the public.
