Wine, Women and Shoes benefit

National charity, Wine, Women & Shoes, is pleased to bring their fundraising event to Charleston with an afternoon filled with strappy stilettos and Sauvignon Blanc to benefit the Florence Crittendon Programs of South Carolina.  On October 6, approximately 350 wine-savvy and shoe-loving women will kick up their heels for a cause at the Daniel Island Club.  Guests will sip libations from some of the country’s top winemakers, shop the latest trends in the multi-vendor marketplace, watch a live runway show featuring local celebrities, and partake in an unforgettable auction and raffle.

“The event is based on what we call 'the fine art of wine and shoe pairings - think comparing a Sauvignon Blanc to a silver strappy sandal and a Cabernet to a classic black pump”, quips Wine, Women & Shoes founder Elaine Honig.  ”We speak the language of Barolo AND Manolo!”  Wine Women & Shoes is the fastest-growing luxury event series created for women by women in the US.  Now in its ninth year, they have produced events in over 50 cities boasting 25,000 attendees per year.  WW&S has helped net $15 million for various women’s and family-related causes that host this annual fundraiser, which began in Napa Valley.

Tickets to Charleston’s inaugural Wine, Women, & Shoes event are available for purchase here. General admission tickets are $100, and VIP tables of six are available for $1,000.
