With a week's worth of Halloween festivities already come and gone, I hope you're ready for the main event come Sunday night.

To be more accurate, most of Charleston is celebrating Halloween on Saturday night. Let's be honest, we'd rather not nurse a hellacious hangover on Monday morning anyway. With big blowout bashes, costume contests galore, concerts, theater and more, you're sure to find a Halloween event that'll knock your socks off included in our Charleston Halloween Events Guide.

As for non-Halloween weekend fun, there's plenty of that to go 'round too.

Even though it can't be categorized as a horror flick, one of the most awful movies ever made, The Room, will be screened at the Terrace Theater on both Friday and Saturday night. In other cinematic news, the Northwoods Stadium Cinemas at Northwoods Mall will be opening this weekend with eight screens and improved seating.

If you're looking to eat well while being fiscally responsible, Fish is hosting a special 'Predator and Prey' prix fixe dinner on Friday and Saturday night. You'll get a special three-course meal for just $30. Even more Friday foodie fun -- WildFlour Pastry is turning 1 year old and throwing a party at the Spring Street bakery from 4 to 7 p.m.

It's also the last weekend to eat at Momma Brown's Bar-B-Q in Mount Pleasant. Get your final pork-filled fix before the restaurant closes for good.

Have beer on the brain? Well you're in luck because Adam Avery, President and Brewmaster of Boulder, Colorado's Avery Brewing, is making a special trip to the Lowcountry on Halloween weekend. He'll be making a stop at Foster's Pub in Mount Pleasant on Saturday night and at the Charleston Beer Exchange on Sunday.

Random but true: the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile will be rolling through the Goose Creek Fall Festival on Saturday between 5 and 7 p.m.

There's plenty more weekend events worth checking out, and you'll find them posted on our Events Calendar. The Charleston City Paper a whole slew of events posted in their weekend round up as well; check it out.
