RiverDogs top Sand Gnats 4-3

The Charleston RiverDogs' Dan Brewer batted in Jose Pirela in the top of the 12th inning to take the second of a four-game series against the Savannah Sand Gnats last night, June 3.

The 4-3 lead in the bottom of the 12th was saved by RiverDogs closer Pat Venditte who allowed one hit and struck out two Gnats in the final inning. The win bumps the Dogs to 30-22 on the season while Sand Gnats fall to 25-27.
