College of Charleston third baseman Joey Bergman has been named the Southern Conference Co-Player of the Year.

Bergman currently leads the nation in hitting with a .465 batting average. The Junior also leads the Southern Conference in on-base percentage (.561), runs (86), hits (99), doubles (24) and total bases (170).
