The Bishop England girls soccer team won its eighth straight Class AA-A state title with a 2-1 victory over Christ Church on Friday, May 22.
Bishop England's coach Dave Snyder had this to say about the game, as reported by The Post and Courier:
"That's eight straight. But for most of these girls, this is the game, this is the moment," Snyder said. "I have to tell you, for me, this is the moment. I get equally excited every season. I hope I can motivate these girls to get back here next year. That's what I'm going to try to do."
