Alas, the event has been rescheduled due to a model's illness. It will instead be held Wednesday, October 14, from 7 to 10 p.m.

First reporting:

On every first and third Wednesday of the month, Mellow Mushroom downtown is encouraging guests to show their artistic side at this semi-monthly event Drink and Draw.

The plan is to have figure sketching with a live model, drink specials, contests, games, and prizes. The artists who produces the best work will have their piece displayed until the next week's competition.

Drink and Draw will run from 7 to 10 p.m. and starts up on October 7.

Mellow Mushroom downtown is located at 309 King Street.
