Since when did TheDigitel start covering celebrity gossip? Thanks to a tweet from a Myrtle Beach radio DJ, a lot of media attention has been directed to the Lowcountry in the past 24 hours.

Celebrities Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are husband and wife after a marriage at a picturesque Lowcountry plantation.

In fact, the Boone Hall Plantation website was down yesterday morning after the rumor was confirmed locally.

People.com stepped up and broke the story with photos, in part:

The reception took place in a white tent at the plantation on Sunday evening. Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine), a good friend of the Gossip Girl star, performed three songs live, and there was also a deejay who spun tunes. 

Lively's mother and sister were also spotted in town, and a source told PEOPLE that the two had dinner in Charleston with Bette Midler earlier in the weekend.
