Summerville student in national spelling bee (updated)

Update May 27: Gamble has been knocked out in round three after failing to spell "tinnitus." He spelled it "tenitis."

Sixth grade Pinewood Prep student Ben Gamble, remains a contender in the Scripps National Spelling Bee taking place in Washington, D.C.

GambleThe contest continues on Thursday, May 28, with 50 top spellers advancing to the semi-finals. For more on the bee, check out the article at The Post and Courier.
