Ah, it's once again time for, Dish, the Charleston City Paper's guide to dining in the Charleston metro area — and the winter 2011 installment celebrates the arrival of the Lowcountry's food scene.

Aptly, the paper's reviewers have assembled a gluttony of food reviewes that will walk you through what spots are worth going to and even some odder items like deep-fried sushi, where to find the best tequila, what chefs are down with pickling, and much, much more.

And with that Stephanie Barna has a general primer for this installment of the guide; read it here. After that head over to the full guide page to search or browse the reviews and then scroll all the way down for some featured pieces.

As always with the Dish guide, it's free and I find it far more pleasing to read in print.
