Dan Golden has a blog up today about the dropout rate across the state and Horry County and guess what? It's not great but it's also not a devastating loss of graduates. Golden, in part, writes, "[Horry County's] rate went up 0.1 percentage points, from 3.8 percent to 3.9 percent." The blog post also points to the Report on Student Dropout Rates by the South Carolina Department of Education.
