SwampFest 2011 is on Saturday, November 5 (Update: photos)

First report 11/05/11: SwampFest is a celebration of natural and cultural history in Horry County being held at the Playcard Environmental Education Center located at the intersection of Highways 410 and 19.  The event begins at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m.

Exhibits highlight conservation and natural history, antique tractors, bluegrass and folk music, historical displays in pioneer and Native American history, scout programs, school programs, outdoor skills groups, civic organizations, and other local and regional talent.  Admission is free and open to the public.
